365 Days is a personal, self initiated project where I intend to create at least one piece of art or design each day for a whole year. I see this as an opportunity to experiment with new work flows and subject matter whilst improving my skills in various softwares. The intention for the outcome of this project is to build a portfolio of work through the exploration of sketchbook work and keep learning to refine my digital work both 2D and 3D.
My portfolio of concept driven illustrations. Each design has been undertaken with a consideration for composition, colour, lighting and its application to the entertainment industry, specifically video games and film.
Each piece has been created using varied workflows that have been adapted dependent on the nature of the designs intention and all completed efficiently and were well researched.
A place to put my idea generation, experiments and sketches.
The Children Who Dream of Cicada was my final university project where I attempted to craft a story world using the transmedia method.
This involved creating separate stories on varying platforms of delivery that all took place in the same story universe. The idea for the project, and the most important outcome for myself was to create the visuals and the story necessary to establish a world that could then be taken on by other creators for production. Thus meaning that I had succeeded in translating cohesive ideas, designs and visuals from my head to a transmedia bible and its supporting materials.
